If the farmer is prosperous, the people will be prosperous

At the session, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech. The Head of State noted that certain achievements have been made in the Tashkent region in areas such as industry, construction, agriculture, development of small business and private entrepreneurship, construction of modern housing in rural areas, employment of the population, and the social sector.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev particularly emphasized the great contributions of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, who initiated major projects aimed at the socio-economic development of the Tashkent region.

It was also highlighted that the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 9, 2016, “On the Program of Measures for the Comprehensive Development of Cities and Districts of the Tashkent Region for 2016–2018,” plays an important role in the overall development of the region.

The capital region stands out among other regions of Uzbekistan due to the fertility and productivity of its land. To effectively utilize these opportunities, land should be allocated to true farmers — those who are genuinely passionate and motivated to become farmers.
